Entrepreneurs, law firms, financial advisors and banks continue to establish their trust companies in South Dakota due to its progressive trust laws, asset protections, tax regime and relatively low cost to establish the company itself. I have provided guidance and representation to those entities seeking to obtain a trust charter in South Dakota.
